FOUNDER’S STATEMENT

In today’s fast-paced world it is so easy to get wrapped up in what is important to us at the time, that which exists in our immediate environment. Work, family, church, friends and groups we are members of all have demands on our time and resources. It is difficult to determine where to focus, what to prioritize and how to decide where to spend the most precious resource we have; time.

In most cases all of the demands are viable and worthy and yet we have the difficult task of prioritizing how to address each one’s needs. Then of course there are those causes that are out of our direct vision, ones we see on the news, read on the web, and hear about from our friends and neighbors or even worse, situations where we have no visibility and therefore knowledge of at all. How can we find the time to assist with their needs?

I have three amazing life coaches in my sphere of influence. They may not see themselves in that role however that is what they are to me. Besides being dear friends they are role models and extremely spiritual in nature, something I must admit is an area I am sadly lacking. It is not for a lack of interest nor genuine desire to participate, I just have no real knowledge. Once I experienced the exhilaration of a genuine spiritual encounter it energized me and made me want more. Not for how it made me feel, but for how I felt connected to everything around me. The emotion is intoxicating and almost addictive, I want more and to feel involved. While there are limits for all of us, I have found a great way to maintain the momentum is to be focused on “paying it forward.”

Most of us have heard this phrase and it may mean something different to all of us. To me it means doing something that is positive for someone just because it is the right thing to do and I can do it. It is not done as a repayment of a good deed done for me but because there are so many of us that need that interaction or help, the kindness we share is of untold value. It does not need to be something of substantive value, it needs to be honest and genuine. If each of us paid more attention to what is happening around us we could “pay it forward” many times during the day which would impact the world in ways none of us could possibly imagine.

Share our Vision is a platform for our group to make the world a better place, not in big chunks but in small daily activities. Not for the money but because we want the world to be a better place. Our first worthy project will be to help Veterans. It is our intention to donate free products that can be used in medical procedures to help alleviate discomfort and partner with dedicated physicians to provide no cost services to help those who have given so much of themselves.

We welcome your participation in this first of many specific projects we wish to deploy, please reach out to Bruce Bertman at 561.221.1000 ext. 201 or via email at bruce@shareourvision.org to see how together we can make a real difference in so many lives.
